Unemployment Rates Up

Most of Oklahoma has seen unemployment rates increase.  According to the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, 76 of Oklahoma's 77 counties including Washington, Nowata, and Osage counties saw their unemployment rates rise in January.

Nowata County's unemployment rate stands at 5.5, up from 5.4 percent.  Osage County's unemployment rate is currently at five percent, up from 4.6 percent and Washington County's unemployment rate also increased.  It's currently 4.2 percent, up from 3.7 percent.
