If you smelled smoke Tuesday afternoon, you're probably not the only one. WCEMA Director Kary Cox said ranchers in the area are taking advantage of the drought relief from last week's storms. Also, winds are light today and should stay that way. Rain is expected later this week. Cox said they are "loosely" controlled burns.
