Easter Egg Hunts Around the Region

While Easter is a solemn but joyous remembrance of Jesus, young children connect Easter to something fun. With that in mind, there are Easter Egg Hunts scheduled in many communities. Spirit Church will conduct an egg drop for the third year in a row on Saturday at Sooner Park in Bartlesville. For adults, the biggest pleasure is watching the childrens faces as 40-thousand eggs are dropped by helicopter. The egg drop is free and so is the carnival going on below.

Other egg hunts include one on Thursday at the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church which begins at 6:30 P.M. On Friday at 11 A.M., the Easter Bunny makes an appearance at Copan City Park followed by an egg hunt. Saturday, there's is one in Barnsdall City Park beginning at 10 A.M. And don't despair. If you can't make it to any of these events, the Price Tower holds an Egg Drop “EGG”-stravaganza on May 2nd. Amy Haley, Price Tower Marketing Director, said it can be very interesting.

Preregistration is suggested and you can do so by calling 918-336-4949 or visit a link posted at http://www.visitbartlesville.com/price-tower-egg-drop-egg-stravaganza_id60.php?action=detail&event_id=820&month=May&year=2015
