The Dewey City Council opened to a nearly full house during their regular scheduled meeting on Monday night. Most were citizens who had received notice that homes that they owned were being considered for a Dilapidation Determination. Mayor Ron Revard explains how the process works.

Ten properties were on the agenda with four being tabled to a later date. Citizens were given a chance to respond. Two properties with no representation were determined dilapidated. Two property owners agreed with the determination and were given time to do what was needed. Two others asked for time to make repairs and are expected to be at the May 4th meeting with their “game plan.”
