A $50,000 bond has been set for a Bartlesville man who allegedly took a credit card and spent $820 at Wal-Mart.  26-year old Arturo Mendoza is charged with use of a stolen credit/debit card.  A woman told Bartlesville police that she lost her credit card.  The following day, the victim's bank contacted her that the card was used at Wal-Mart.

According to a court affidavit, a Wal-Mart security camera showed the suspect used the credit card to buy a soda, and later came back to buy a 55-inch LG flat screen TV.  The video also showed Mendoza put the TV inside a black SUV and left the scene.  Officers made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of South Maple and questioned the suspect.  Reportedly, Mendoza told the police that he found the credit card on the ground, bought a drink to see if the card worked, and bought a TV.  The TV was found at the Mendoza's girlfriend's house.  Prosecutors are not sure if Mendoza is a U.S. citizen.  His next court date is May 29th.
