A search warrant served early Friday morning resulted in an arrest on drug charges.  According to Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings, Bartlesville police, agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Drug Enforcement Administration served a search warrant just after 6 in the morning at a home in 215 N.W. Seminole.  Police found Bruce Esley Witherow hiding under the floor of the home.  OBN agents arrested Witherow and charged him with Trafficking Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

Hastings says the arrest is the result of a year and a half long investigation by the Bartlesville Police Department, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Drug Enforcement Administration into a major drug-dealing operation.  At the same time, agents served a search warrant at a home in Tulsa connected with the case. Police recovered a pound of methamphetamine split between the two locations.  Formal charges will be filed through the Washington County District Attorney's Office.
