Heavy rainfall and rising rivers called for many rescue attempts around the area over the weekend, with a least one fatality.  Claremore Fire Captain Jason Farley lost his life as he was helping with the rescue of several families.  Farley apparently lost his footing and was swept down a storm drain. A fellow firefighter, Zane James, attempted to help Farley but he was also washed into the drain.  James was rescued.  Captain Farley's family was out of town at the time of incident, coming home last night to hundreds of well wishers lining Highway 66.  Firefighters haven't left Farley's side and are taking turns standing watch 24 hours a day at the funeral home.  Farley's funeral is expected to be held Saturday.
