Historic Bartlesville Sites Presented with Citations of Merit

The Oklahoma Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office will be holding a banquet Thursday to award six Bartlesville organizations with Citations of Merit to recognize them for their positive impacts on preserving Oklahoma's historic properties.

Twenty-two citations will be presented to organizations in seven different Oklahoma communities.

Among the six being recognized in Bartlesville is Bob Fraser for his work at Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve.

Melvena Heisch,at the State Historic Preservation Office says that everyone has a role to play in preserving history for future generations

Other organizations being recognized Thursday are Seekers of Success for the Anchor House Project, Kim Inman for her work at White Rose Cemetery, The Bartlesville Area History Museum, , and the Vasudevan and Krishnan families for their many contributions around Bartlesville.
