Event Teaches Senior Citizens to Avoid Scams

The Oklahoma Insurance Department's Medicare Assistance Program will be hosting a conference on July 8 to help senior citizens avoid fraud and scams.
Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner, John D. Doak, says “Crooks target seniors because they think they're an easy target.
Citizens will receive information about Medicare, home repair, telemarketing, identity theft, banking, prepaid funerals, and current scams.
