A Pawhuska man is in custody for allegedly having illegal drugs in a motel room.  30-year old Peter Alan Bighorse, Jr. is charged with possession of methamphetamine.  According to a court affidavit, Bartlesville police served a search warrant at Motel 8 where the suspect was staying.  Reportedly, officers searched the room and found inside the trash can a bag of meth.

Court records indicate that Bighorse is a four-time convicted felon out of Osage County.  Bighorse's next court date is July 31st.  Bond was set at $50,000.
