Volunteers Needed this Weekend for Pack the Backpack

The Washington County “Pack the Backpack” campaign is headed into the final lap. Volunteers are needed to pack the backpacks which they will be doing this weekend, July 31st and August 1st and 2nd. Organizer Sherri Smith said they packed almost 2400 last year and so they could use a little help.
The packing takes place at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Bartlesville. Go to the website, http://www.packthebackpacks.org/homex/ and click on the Volunteer tab to sign up.
The Washington County School Supply Drive serves schools in Bartlesville, Dewey, Copan, Caney Valley, Osage Hills, Head Start and Bowring.
