The Nowata County Commissioners approved a resolution and application for a $50,000 Rural Economic Action Plan Grant for community development.  Commissioner Bud Frost says the grant would be used to develop a housing addition on a tract of land near South Coffeyville.  In other action, the commissioners approved a three year contract with Cable One.  The District Attorney's Office reviewed the contract and recommended the commissioners to accept the contract.
