Bartlesville High has made some changes to some extras around his football program going forward.

BHS will now celebrate its senior night a week earlier than was originally scheduled. Senior night will be on Thursday, Oct. 15 against Ponca City. Initially it waqs going to be the week following against Putnam City West.

Currently, Putnam City Public Schools are not allowing activities and athletics. PC West, which is a Bartlesville district opponent, has not played either of its two scheduled district games so far.

Also, for fans planning on attending this Friday’s game at home against Booker T. Washington, tickets will no longer have to be bought in advance. Tickets will be sold at the ticket booth before the game begins as usual. Social distancing measures and masks will still be required, but there will not be a cap on attendance.

Bartlesville High Athletic and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck says they are ready for the second Bruin home game of the year.

We will have more on the Booker T.- Bruin game on Wednesday during coach Jason Sport’s weekly radio show, which will air from 6-7 PM on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
