A former Bartlesville High football player continues to play as a freshman at Kansas State.

K-State head coach Bill Snyder talked about former Bartlesville defensive back AJ Parker on Tuesday. During his weekly press conference Synder was asked about Parker and his performance as the Wildcat’s 5thdefensive back during their game against TCU this past weekend. As with most freshman, Snyder said it was some good and some bad.

Parker was second on the team with eight tackles in a 26-6 loss for Kansas State against the Horned Frogs.

K-State will next host Oklahoma at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon.

The OU broadcast of that game can be heard on 100.1 - KYFM.
