Area Schools Hit Playoffs on Friday
If you missed it from Friday night, we have several area schools in the high school football playoffs – the first round will kick off this Friday night.
Here are the teams and the schedules.
Wesleyan Christian School will host Sasakwa on Friday night at 7:00.
The Mustangs have a second-straight home playoff game thanks to back-to-back wins to end the regular season over Bluejacket and South Coffeyville.
Interesting matchup at Ormond Beach Stadium on Friday, as Pawhuska will host Hominy.
This is a rematch of a game that Hominy won back on Sept. 17. The Bucks won the first contest at home, 33-31. Pawhuska moved on to win its next seven games en route to a district title. 7:00 kick on 99.1 FM – KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
And Oklahoma Union squeaked into the postseason for the fourth straight season. The Cougars routed Fairland, 44-18. OKU will be up against it on the road in the first round on Friday night on the road at Morrison. That will be a 7:00 kick.
