Barnsdall will Rely on Seniors

High School football practice starts in less than two weeks, and Barnsdall is trying to get back into the playoffs with a veteran group.

Joe Cole, Micheal Marin, Health Moles and Braden Kelley have headlined a senior class that has brought a ton of athletic success for the Panthers the past four years in both football and boys’ basketball.

One of the toughest things for Barnsdall getting back in the playoffs will be its staunch district in Class A District 5 - a nine team district. Head coach Kylee Sweeney is back again, and says his club saw some of those district opponents over the summer during 7-on-7.

Barnsdall will begin the 2019 season with a rivalry game at Caney Valley on Friday, August 30.
