Longtime Bartlesville High School varsity boys basketball coach Tim Bart is stepping down from his post. Bart has been a fixture on the sidelines for the Bruins since 2000.  Bart has found success during his time with the Bruins.  As Bartlesville's head man, he steadily turned Bartlesville into one of the top programs in the area and became recognized as one of the top coaches in Oklahoma.  Bart says it was a good time to step down.  Bart will remain as the high school's Athletic Director.  He says the Athletic Director duties will keep him busy.  Bart also says that there will be some coaching changes in the basketball program.  During his time as the Bruins head coach, Bart compiled a record of 241 wins and 104 losses.  The 241 wins include six regional championships, two area championships and five state tournament appearances.  Bart's best finish as Bruins head coach took place during the 2004-05 season as the Bruins were one win shy of a state title, finishing as state runner-up.
