Bartlesville Baseball: The Home Stretch

Regionals are just around the corner.

But first, the Bartlesville baseball team will play four games in five days.

The streaking Bruins, winners of five in their last six, play Enid twice, at Bixby and at Sand Springs to wrap up district play this week.

Bartlesville (10-18) has also won seven of its last 11. BHS swept Booker T. Washington and Sand Springs last week after rain hampered the Bruins at the beginning.

BHS starts things at Enid on Monday. First pitch at 6:00 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark. You can hear that game on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3, also online at BarltesvilleRadio.com and on the Bartlesville Radio app.

The Plainsmen (12-18) have lost four in a row. All four games were played in a tournament in Edmond. BHS trails Enid by a game in the 6A-District 4 standings. All 6A teams qualify for the postseason. Regional assignments will be announced May 2.

District Standings:

Owasso: 9-1

Bixby: 8-3

Union: 6-3

Sand Springs: 6-5

Enid: 6-6

Bartlesville: 4-6

Moore: 4-8

Muskogee 0-11
