Bartlesville High has another tough Frontier Valley Conference double-header against Union, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins travel to the UMAC on Friday evening.

The BHS girls are looking for their 11th win in a row to start 2017-18. Lady Bruin standout junior guard Jena' Williams will try to stay hot, as she went 7-7 from three-point range on Tuesday in Bartlesville’s blowout win against Broken Arrow. Williams had 25 points, and scored the first 14 points of the game for BHS.

Union is 2-6 on the girl’s side. Bartlesville is still undefeated at 10-0 and ranked at No. 2 in 6A.

Meanwhile, the boys have another challenge against the Redskins. The Bruin boys have played well the past two games – But they have no wins to show for it.

BHS fell by three to Carl Albert this past Saturday, then went back and forth with Broken Arrow on Tuesday, only to see the Tigers pull away in the end. Here is Bartlesville head boys basketball coach Clent Stewart.

The Union boys are 7-3 and are ranked at No.10 in Class 6A. The Redskins have won three straight.

Full preview with Clent Stewart.

6:30 tip off for the girls, with the boys to follow around 8:00 – both games can be heard on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
