Bartlesville Gets Win No. 1 in Missouri
The Bartlesville girls’ basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Wednesday night, as the Lady Bruins beat up on Webb City, Missouri during their opening contest in the Carthage tournament.
BHS topped Webb City 47-33. It was basically a wire-to-wire Bartlesville win.
The girls took the lead at 4-3 in the first quarter and never trailed from that point on. Nine different Lady Bruins scored in the victory. Chloe Martin was the only player in double-figures with 12. She tallied her 1000th career point right before the halftime break.
Bartlesville stands at 1-1 and will have two more games in the tournament, both at 5:30 on Thursday and Friday. BHS takes on Springfield Hillcrest first on Thursday night.
