A little league baseball team based in Northeast Oklahoma took home some hardware over the weekend.

Congrats to the Oklahoma Stix – a USSSAA 13-and-under team based out of Bartlesville won the USSSA AA World Series on Saturday afternoon. The Stix topped a team from Sioux City, Iowa 10-7 in the title game to take home the championship.

That win polishes off a 42-6 season for the Stix, who went 6-0 in that World Series tournament in Omaha, Nebraska. They beat a team from Topeka, Kansas in the semifinals earlier on Saturday.

The Stix are coached by Andy Fox and are made up of 12 area boys.
