Fall sports are coming right up—football practice is set to begin next week for school’s across the state—and we will have some actual games starting in a few other sports. Bartlesville High Softball is set to begin early next week. The Lady Bruins will be at Enid for a doubleheader. BHS head coach Craig Hampton has lauded the group’s cohesiveness throughout the offseason—calling the group the tightest knit he’s had.

However the beginning of the year is always an adventure when putting together a lineup offensively. Hampton says that finding the groups of strength will be a key for Bartlesville early on.

BHS has nearly half its lineup back from a season ago. That team went 13-22 with a strong end to the season. However, the Lady Bruins are still a little light on upperclassmen. We will have more on Bartlesville Softball as the season begins
