Bartlesville Swimming Amps Up
Bartlesville High swimming is really starting to heat up, with the Lady Bruins and Bruins getting into a heavy part of its schedule before winter break.
Bartlesville took on Broken Arrow and Fort Gibson in a dual on Tuesday evening.
Bartlesville came out on top on both the girl’s and boy’s side.
The boy’s team is more experienced than the girl’s this season, but the Lady Bruins are talent heavy at the top. Bartlesville head swim coach Chad Englehart talks about his squad.
Although the girls are young, Erin Downey and June Harris are both back on the team. They are bound for NCAA Division I schools next year. Downey is headed to the University of Kansas and Harris is going to North Texas.
