Bartlesville Track Gets Medals At State
The Lady Bruin and Bruin track teams sent 18 athletes to the state track meet at Yukon High School on Friday and Saturday, and BHS took home some medals.
Individually, AJ Parker and Blair Koster took home hardware. Parker finished third in the high jump, while Koster finished second in the 100M hurdles.
As a team, the Lady Bruins medaled in the 3200 and the 4X800 relay.
The biggest accomplishment for Bon Bennett and the BHS track team was the nearly 20 athletes competing at the state level. Bennett said before the meet he had hoped for as many as a dozen competing at Yukon.
