Bartlesville Volleyball In Regionals

It's win or go home for the Bartlesville volleyball team on Thursday, as the Lady Bruins travel down to Owasso for regional play.

BHS is looking to tick off a few victories in the single elimination tournament. The Lady Bruins start off with Edmond Memorial at 5:30. The winner will get the winner of Owasso and Sand Springs.

Bartlesville has been trending upwards since the middle of September, BHS has won three of their last four matches, beating Westmoore, Sand Springs and the Bishop Kelley JV team. Head coach Tom Williams talks about recent surge. Williams says the win against Westmoore, which was the final match for Bartlesville in a tough Stillwater tournament, has propelled the team.

Williams says that several players have been playing particularly well lately, including Madison McPhail, Sarah Covell, Kailey Britt, Hailey Linzy and more.

Bartlesville is 0-2 so far this year against Edmond Memorial. Memorial is tall, and serves well. Williams says handling that will be the keys for the Lady Bruins on Thursday.
