Bartlesville's Offense Erupts

Bartlesville scored 12 runs in the first inning on its way to a 22-4 win against Muskogee on Monday evening.

However, the Bruin 1st didn’t start how most double-digit, crooked-number innings begin. BHS had one runner on base with two outs when 13 straight Bruins reached base. The biggest hit of the inning came off the bat of Dave Wiseman, who hit a grand slam scoring Chandler Holliman, Tate Holman, Joe Jones and himself.

Several Bruins singled-home runs and AJ Archambo had a two-RBI double in the mix.

Five Bartlesville players had multiple hits. Gage Gardner and Zac Boyes led the way at the plate, each pounding three hits. Gardner also homered in the first inning, driving in two runs.

Bartlesville tallied 16 hits and 10 walks in the offensive onslaught. The Bruins also only struck out three times in 30 at-bats.

The Bruins kept it together on the mound, as well. Logan McNeill threw three innings giving up four runs on seven hits. Zac Snow also three two no-hit shut-out innings.

The win tunes up Bartlesville for a Tuesday evening game hosting Sand Springs. You can hear that game on KWON, as we begin our BHS baseball broadcasts. Pregame starting around 6:20 with first-pitch at 6:30.

Here is a full-list of the radio broadcast schedule for Bruin baseball for the 2015 season.
