Sixty-seven of Bartlesville’s finest golfers teed off over the weekend at Adam’s Golf Course for the Jim Curd Sr. City Championship, which was once again sponsored by Dink’s Real Pit BBQ.

Congrats to former Bartlesville Radio intern Preston Bartley for winning the 2019 City Championship.

Bartley scored back-to-back 70s on Saturday and Sunday to nab his second city title in the past three years. Bartley also won the event in 2017.

Bartley is a Copan native and golfed collegiately at both Oklahoma Wesleyan and Rogers State University. Ross Novak took second place with a 147, Spencer King was third with a 149, and a younger player in Carson Rainbolt finished fourth with a 149. Rainbolt just graduated from Bartlesville High this past May.

There were three fields in this year’s tournament, a championship division, a senior division and a handicapped division.

The senior tournament was won by David William. Stan Baughn won the handicapped tournament.
