BHS Cross Country Begins Practice

Fall Sports practices could officially start for volleyball, softball and cross country as of Saturday morning.

However, only one of those three teams are currently practicing at Bartlesville High School. The Lady Bruin and Bruin cross country teams began running bright and early at 7:00 AM on Monday.

Both volleyball and softball will give their girls an extra week or two off before they begin to practice later on in July. As for the cross country runners, they have been running all summer anyway – here is Bartlesville High Athletic Director Ryan Huff.

Both the girls and boy cross country teams are coming off state championships in 2016. They are coached by David Ayers and Bon Bennett.

We will have a more in-depth look at a few of those fall sports later on this week.
