BHS Football Transitions to Offseason

The offseason is here for Bartlesville High football, which means more work for many in the program despite no games for another nine months or so.

The Bruins wrapped up a 3-7 season with a senior night victory over Shawnee nearly 10 days ago. First year head coach Jason Sport was pleased with his first season at the helm this past year.

He says he will continue to preach culture in an ongoing effort to get the Bruin guys to do the right things on and off the field.

The major offseason program will not start until after Christmas, despite most guys staying in the lifting class for the rest of this semester.

Work also continues to get BPS ready for the new press box at Custer Stadium. Demolition of the old press box will likely happen over Christmas break, so final decisions on details are getting ironed out now.
