BHS Volleyball Looking For First Win

It has been a tough schedule, and a tough start, for Bartlesville volleyball.

BHS is at the Broken Arrow Invitational this weekend.

The Lady Bruins are off to an 0-5 start, but they are improving. Head coach Tom Williams says that winning two games each in their last two matches is a good sign.

Williams attributes some of the struggles to inexperience. Many girls are getting their first varsity action this year. Williams says he thinks that after five games, some of them will grow into better roles.

Williams mentioned Claire Sauer, Audrey Farr and Ashlynn Robbins as three standouts through five matches.

Bartlesville has road matches at Muskogee and Sapulpa next week before returning home to face Stillwater on Sept. 10.
