Blankenship Pleased With Spring Thus Far

Spring has brought energy to the Bartlesville football program.

The Bruins are entering the end of their second week under head coach Lee Blankenship. Although, BHS is really just hitting its one-week mark on the field practice-wise, after the first part of last week mostly dealt with team meetings. Blankenship says after a few days on the field he is fired up for his guys.

Blankenship has continued to take it slow, as he started from the very basics and is working his way forward over his three weeks of practice this spring. As was reported earlier, Bartlesville will skip a team camp and work on its own next week. There are several familiar faces performing well early on this spring, along with some fresh faces as well. Blankenship talks about who has impressed him thus far.

Blankenship also mentioned big fellas Devin Fellows and Cody Keesling along with linebacker Lukas Hammack and newcomer Gerald Gray at wide receiver.
