One of the few facets of the sporting world that has gone on unimpeded is recruiting and Oklahoma Wesleyan’s head basketball coach Donnie Bostwick has been busy lately. Ever since the Eagles’ season was canceled after COVID-19 halted the NAIA National Tournament Bostwick has been shoring up his roster for next season.

The Eagles have already locked up Rejoice Christian’s Jaden Lietzke was who named the Pinnacle Conference’s Most Valuable Player earlier this week. OKWU also landed a commitment from Jace Reid, a 6-3 guard out of Quitman, TX . Reid averaged 24 points per game and ranked in the top 25 nationally in three-pointers made, according to MaxPreps. Bostwick is excited to build on to already talented team.

The Eagles return four starters and every bench piece from a 26-win team last season. Bostiwck will look to build on the depth of the roster. OKWU also added Desmond Johnson a guard out of Greenville, Texas. The Eagles also have offers out to Konner Davis of Oologah and Tyler Haddock of Verdigris, the younger brother of Brooks Haddock who led the Eagles in scoring.
