Both BHS Hoops Teams Return Home

Home at last, home at last - especially for the Lady Bruins.

Both the Bartlesville boy’s and girls’ basketball teams return home for the stretch run of the season on Tuesday, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins host Sand Springs.

This is yet another test in a brutal stretch of the schedule for the Bartlesville girls, who are still undefeated at 15-0. Sand Springs is 10-4, and is the No. 10 ranked team in the state of Oklahoma in Class 6A.

This is just the second home game all season for the BHS girls, and the first since all the way back on Dec. 12 against Muskogee. Lady Bruin head coach Krista Binam says she is happy to be back at Bruin Fieldhouse.

Sand Springs has been one of the better girls programs in the state over the past few years. They are fresh off a trip to the state tournament in 2016, 2017. The Lady Sandites swept Bartlesville last year in a Frontier Valley Conference home and home. Binam talks about tonight’s matchup.

That is a 6:30 tip off for the Lady Bruins on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 – also online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and streaming to your device on the Bartlesville Radio App.

The Sand Springs boys are 11-3, and also ranked in the top 10 of the state. The Bruins have lost six of their last seven. That is an 8:00 tip also on KWON tonight.

The game will also be broadcasted on 91.1 FM inside Bruin Fieldhouse on our portable transmitter.
