Both OKWU Soccer Teams to Host Regional
The postseason is here once again for Oklahoma Wesleyan soccer and both teams have national title aspirations.
The OKWU men’s took home yet another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament title on Saturday. The Eagles beat Tabor 2-1 in the tournament finals on Saturday. OKWU was also selected a regional host site for the NAIA tournament. The Eagles will square off with Governors State (Ill.) on Thursday to open the tournament.
The Lady Eagles also were winners in the KCAC finals on Saturday. Wesleyan defeated Southwestern 1-0 to take the conference crown. The OKWU women’s team will host a regional as a No. 1 seed as well. The Lady Eagles will play Briar Cliff (IA) on Thursday.
