Bruin Baseball Falls Again to Owasso

What had been a great week offensively for Bruin baseball dried up quickly on Tuesday in the second of a two-game district series with Owasso.

Bartlesville High baseball lost its second straight game to Owasso. The Rams blitzed the Bruins in five innings, winning a run-ruled contest 14-0.

BHS held its own over the first few frames, trailing only 2-0 going into the bottom of the third, but that is when Owasso would pull away. Rams scored four in the third and eight in the fourth to win in five frames.

The Bruin defense committed five errors on the evening.

Bartlesville is 1-4, the Bruins are next in action again at home against Ponca City on Thursday – that will be the final game before spring break for BHS baseball.
