Bartlesville boys golf continues to have success toward the middle part of it season, as the Bruins took second place in a tournament at the Sapulpa Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon, and it was again Tanner John leading the way.

The sophomore in his first year of varsity competition took fifth overall with a 75. Evan Lauristen was not far behind with a 78. Hank Gilbert shot an 84, Max Auschwitz tallied an 85 and Griffen Boles scored a 94.

The team score was 322, and BHS was 18 shots back of finishing first in the event. As has been mentioned before, Bruin head coach Jeff Rude says this varsity golf team is working with little experience.
