Bruins and Lady Bruins Day 2 in Bixby
It wasn't a good Friday for Bartlesville basketball in the Bixby Invitational Tournament, as both the Bruins and Lady Bruins lost in comeback efforts in day two of the event.
The Bartlesville boys lost to Deer Creek 57-49, while the girls fell to Owasso 39-33.
The BHS boys (2-3) have lost three straight, but will try to get back on the winning track against Coweta on Saturday morning. The Bruins and Tigers will play for 7th place at 11:30 on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
Meanwhile the BHS girls (3-2) will take on Deer Creek in the 3rd place game at 4:00. No radio for the Lady Bruins on Saturday due to previously scheduled game conflicts.
These games will be the final contests for both basketball teams until after the Christmas holiday.
