Bruins and Lady Bruins Face Sand Springs
Bartlesville High girls and boys basketball will have its hands full on Tuesday, as both clubs travel to Sand Springs for its first true road contests of the season.
It is the second Frontier Valley Conference double-header of the season. BHS split games against Owasso last Tuesday. On the girl's side, the Lady Sandites have handed Bartlesville two of its last four losses over the last 22 months. Sand Springs ended Bartlesville’s undefeated season in the area tournament last season.
On the guy’s side, Sand Springs is undefeated. The Sandites have wins over Ponca City, Broken Arrow and Muskogee. CPHS is No. 8 in the state in this week’s OSSAA Rankings. The Bruin guys squeaked into the top 20 at No. 17. The Lady Bruins are No. 8 on the girls side, with Sand Springs checking in at No. 11.
Both those games will air on Tuesday evening on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
6:30 tip for the girls, 8:00 for the guys - pregame will start at 6:00 PM.
