Three Bartlesville pitchers combined to throw a six-inning no-hitter in the Bruins 13-0 win on Tuesday. BHS defeated Grace Academy from Knoxville, Tennessee in the opening game of its spring break tournament in Panama City, Florida.

Kurt Kauk threw the first four innings of hitless ball. Kauk was lifted after 81 pitches and was followed up by Bryce Weathers and Noah Yearout to finish up the combined no-hitter. The trio compiled eight strikeouts while surrendering six walks.

The Bruins offense was slow to get started but tallied 13 runs in the final three innings after being held scoreless through the first three innings. Every member of the Bartlesville lineup either scored a run or drove a run in. Ward was the most productive Bruin as he went 2-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored.

The Bruins will continue action in Florida on Tuesday with a matchup against Bay HS at 7 p.m. CST.
