Bruin Baseball Postponed
Bartlesville is back on a hot streak, but will be off on Monday because of the rain.
BHS was scheduled to play Broken Arrow on Monday at 7:00, but the game has been postponed. A make-up double-header has been scheduled for 5:00 on Tuesday at Broken Arrow.
The Bruin's went 3-1 over the weekend at the Sand Springs Wood Bat Invitational. BHS beat Muskogee, Bixby and Edison, with a loss to Sapulpa mixed in. BHS stands at 12-7 entering an important week for its playoff seed.
Bartlesville was scheduled to play Broken Arrow and Union twice this week. Bartlesvlle hosts Union on Friday at 7:00 and travels to Union on Saturday at 3:00.
The Tigers and Redskins are the no. 1 and 2 team in the Bruin's district, 6A-3. BHS is 1-3 is district play, which puts it toward the bottom of the standings.
However, Bartlesville has played less district games than most others in 6A-3. Most teams have played between 6-10 district contests.
KWON 1400 AM, 93.3 FM will air both Broken Arrow games, joining the first in progress at 5:30 on Tuesday, as well as Friday's game against Union.
