Bruins Travel to Kansas City This Weekend

The Bartlesville boys will end the busiest portion of their schedule this season with three games in three days starting on Thursday in Kansas City.

The Bruins are taking part in the All Saints Classic, a tournament hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas. This is the second year in a row BHS has been in the tournament.

Bartlesville (6-6) finds itself in a good spot entering the event, having won three of its last four, with a blowout win over Muskogee its last time out on Tuesday, 50-29. Defense has been the name of the game for the Bruins this season. Bartlesville head boys’ basketball coach Clent Stewart.

According to Stewart, out of the 12 opponents BHS has faced this year, nine of them have had a bottom three scoring output of their season against Bartlesville.

The Bruins open up the KC Tournament with an afternoon game against Grandview Christian on Thursday. A 4:30 tip off.
