The quest to play for a Dewey Tournament Championship Thursday evening came up short for the Dewey Bulldoggers as they lost 83-58 to the Cleveland Tigers.  The loss ended Dewey's six game winning streak.

The Tigers led for most of the game and never looked back.  The star for the 15th ranked Cleveland in Class 4A was Caden Krotzer.  He finished with a game high 42 points and made eight 3-pointers, six of those came in the first half.  Dewey committed a number of turnovers that led to Cleveland's points. Three Dogger players finished in double figures.  Drew Miller led with 18 points, followed by Kameron Hayes' 13 points and Blayz Rippy's 12 points.

Dewey falls to 8-5 overall and will play Tulsa Webster Saturday evening at 5:30 for third place.
