Dewey Bulldoggers Survive At Oologah
Dewey' Justin Davis made a layup with 1.9 seconds left in the game to win 51-49 over Oologah Thursday night at the Oologah Tournament. The Mustangs had one last shot, but Oologah's Breyden DeSpain's three-pointer was short and Dewey survived with a two-point win. Caleb Harp led the Doggers with 11 points while Nick Garrett added nine. Oologah was led by DeSpain with a game high 24 points and made four 3-pointers. Oologah is now 4-2 overall and will take on Catoosa Friday night at 8 o'clock. The Bulldoggers are now 3-2 overall and will play Ft. Gibson in the semi-finals of the Oologah Tournament Friday night at 8. You can hear the game on KRIG 104.9 FM. Ft. Gibson is ranked 6th in Class 4A.
A tough day for the Lady Bulldoggers as they fell 82-28 to Ft. Gibson Thursday afternoon at the Oologah Tournament. Erin Hershock led Dewey with 9 points. Lady Doggers will take on Catoosa Friday afternoon at 3:30.
