Dewey Finishes 2021 at 1-9
Dewey had two early leads at home against Kansas, but the Comets would pull away in the end. Kansas topped the Doggers, 50-22.
Game was not always so one-sided.
Dewey struck first on this six play drive.
Kansas would tie the game up, but not for long. Dewey struck again following a Kansas turnover early in the 2nd, and Trenton Muninger used his legs to help the cause.
Comets owned the second quarter as they would outscore the Doggers 22-8. Dewey was down two scores at the half, 28-14 and the rout was on.
Tate Lewis came in at quarterback after Muninger was injured – he led one scoring drive but that would be it for the Doggers on offense.
Colby Miller went for 100-yards receiving. Dewey ends the year at 1-9.
