Dewey Track Team Prepare For State
The Dewey Bulldoggers and Lady Doggers Track teams are preparing for the Class 4A State Track Meet, scheduled for May 8th-9th at Moore High School. The Dewey Lady Doggers last Saturday finished second overall in the Class 4A Regional Track Meet at Catoosa. Lady Doggers Karissa Jones finished first in the long jump. Erin Herchock finished first in the 300 Meter Hurdles while Jaycie Nickerson finished second. It was a Lady Dogger sweep in the 100 Meter Hurdles. Herchock finished first, Nickerson second, and Jones third. Bulldogger Robbie Ketchum finished first in the Pole Vault. Last year, Herchock was the state champion in the 100 and 300 Meter Hurdles.
