Dewey Wraps Up Summer Passing Leagues

Three area football teams were in competition at the Dewey passing league at Dewey High School on Tuesday afternoon. Dewey, Bartlesville and Barnsdall all took part in the 7-on-7 scrimmage-style action.

The Bulldoggers wrapped up their passing league play for the summer session. Dewey played some stiff competition but head coach Tyler Caid was very happy with his team’s performance.

This past weekend the Bulldoggers played in the Comet Clash at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. Dewey took some of the elite talent form Tulsa’s east side and lost all four games in the tournament. Caid says taking on these strong teams now will toughen up his team when the fall comes around.

The Bulldoggers will continue with their summer pride workouts before opening the season on August 25 against Adair.
