Doenges Ford Indians Tryouts
The Doenges Ford Indians have officially set their tryouts for this weekend.
Bartlesville’s long-standing American Legion Baseball team will have players out to Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium on Saturday at 10:00 AM. The Indians will combine the best high-school and young college players from the area for the summer baseball squad. Anthony Towers is back as the Indian’s manager this summer.
American Legion baseball has existed in Bartlesville since 1937, making this the 81st season of legion baseball.
Doenges began its sponsorship of the Indian’s all the way back in 1942.
We will carry every Indian’s game this summer on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. More on the club in the coming days.
