The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball will return to action on Tuesday. The Eagles are playing their final non-conference home game against Evangel at 7 p.m. OKWU has played well early on having won four games in a row—three of which by double-digits.

The Eagles have balanced out playing time in the early goings of the season. No one on the team is averaging more than 21 minutes per game. OKWU head coach Donnie Bostwick says he has an unselfish team.

So far, second-year Freshman Jaden Lietzke is the team’s leading scorer with 13.5 points per game. No other Eagles’ player is averaging more than 10 points. There could be room for improvement in scoring as OKWU is only shooting 32.1% from three-point range through four games.

Last year, the Eagles swept Evangel in two non-conference games. Coverage starts at 6:50 pm. on Sportstalk 1500 AM—99.1 FM KPGM.
