Eagles Set for Home Doubleheader Against Friends

The Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles are back in action for their penultimate doubleheader before Christmas break. The Eagles are in great shape at 9-3 overall and winners of seven of their last eight contests. The Eagles lone loss came in overtime at Southwestern.

OKWU has leaned heavily on sophomore sharpshooter Brooks Haddock who has averaged over 22 points per game in that stretch. Even with defenses keying on him, Eagles head coach Donnie Bostwick says Haddock can still find ways to score.

The Lady Eagles were able to snap a three-game losing streak with a narrow win over McPherson on Saturday. The OKWU women’s team is now 4-3 in conference play heading into Wednesday home doubleheader against Friends. You can listen to the live radio broadcast starting at 6 p.m. on Sportstalk 99.1 FM KPGM.
