Former OKWU Star Thriving in Finnish League

Former Oklahoma Wesleyan All-American Joshua Wilchcombe is turning in phenomenal numbers playing overseas. Wilchcombe is turning into a star for the Lokoko Bison, a professional team in Finland’s First Division. Wilchcombe is averaging 22 points, 14 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. All of those numbers top 10 in the league.

The 6-foot-8 center has notched a double-double in all but one of his seven career professional games. In one game this season Wilchcombe tallied 31 points, 30 rebounds and four blocks. Wilchcombe is the only player of the last year’s 30-win team actively playing professional basketball.
